Returns

 

STANDARD POLICY: We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item for a refund or exchange it for a new item within 14 days of the receipt of your purchase. Please note items received outside of the specified returns period will not be accepted. 

Items must be shipped within 28 days of receiving your return shipping label. Items sent after 28 days will not be accepted. Please note, you must use our return portal to return your items. Items returned without using our portal will not be accepted. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Return Labels: We provide these labels to you via email or browser download if your product is eligible. You can start your return here. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your eligible refund amount. To receive your refund, your return request must be processed within 14 days of receipt and mailed within 28 days of receiving the return label. If it is agreed that your product was damaged before arriving to you or sent an incorrect item, we will issue a full-refund. Once you have created a return label, you must mail that package within 28 days.

Several types of products are except from being returned. For example, our non-refundable items are gift certificates, all digital downloads, and paper products. Please view the list below.

Shoes: Footwear must include the original shoe box in its original condition, without postal labels. A $10 fee is charged when footwear is returned in a damaged shoe box, or without the original shoe box.

Clothing: Must be returned unworn and with the original tags on the garment.

Swimwear: Must be returned in original condition with tags attached and must also have the sanitary liner.

All Handbags/Duffel Bags/Tote Bags/Backpacks: Must be returned unused, and in resale condition with tags attached.

Home Goods: Must be returned unused, in the original packaging, and in resale condition with tags attached.

Fitness Accessories: Must be returned unused, in the original packaging. Yoga Mats must not be unwrapped otherwise it is considered used.

Fragrance & Cosmetics: These items can't be returned.

All Paper Products such as Cards, Journals, Notebooks, Wrapping Paper, Puzzles, Magnets, Posters, & Stickers: These items can't be returned.

Digital Products: These items can't be returned.

Final Sale Items: We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for final sale items. No exceptions. Additional discounts cannot be used on final sale items.

Damaged Items: Any items returned in damaged condition will be subject to inspection. If the item was damaged before arriving to you, we will send you a new one. If deemed to have been worn or damaged by you, the customer, we will not replace the product or refund your order.

EXCHANGES
We offer exchanges. An exchange must be made within 14 days of receipt of your purchase. You can exchange your item for the same style in a different size & color or you can purchase an entirely different style. If your new purchase costs more than the exchange, you will be charged the difference during the exchange process. Your new item(s) will not ship until your return package has been scanned in by the Post Office. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item. You can start your exchange here.

RETURNING A GIFT
If you received a gift purchased at theafjempire.com, we can still help you find the original order so you can discreetly exchange it for another size, color or style. We will ask you to fill out a form of what you know about the gift so we can discreetly find the original order for you. You can start your gift exchange here.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift certificate for the value of your return. Once the return item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.  

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, then we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return. 

CANCELLATIONS
We offer free cancellations within 1 hour of completing your purchase. Excluding all digital products from The AFJ Shop and Mind Over Money Lab. 

THIRD-PARTY SHOP PURCHASES
We do not accept returns on any items purchased from another retail store such as Etsy, Zazzle, Redbubble, Amazon, or eBay. Please contact the customer service of the shop you ordered from on their platform.

REFUND ELIGIBILITY
Your return will be inspected within 3-5 business days of receipt.

If in acceptable condition, a credit will be automatically issued back to your original form of payment in 3-5 business days. You will receive an email from hello@theafjbrand.co once the refund has been issued. It can take 5-10 business days from that point for your bank to process the refund back to you.

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then, contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. It is typical for the refund to take 5-10 days to be refunded by your bank.
